A high-level Egyptian security and diplomatic delegation has arrived at Tripoli's Mitiga airport, the first official visit by an Egyptian delegation in 6 years.

During the visit, which will be for a few hours, the delegation is expected to meet with leaders of the Presidential Council and the Government of National Accord, including Defense Minister Salah Al-Din Al-Nimroush, Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad, Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha and commander of the Western Military Region, Major General Osama Jueli.
