On Tuesday evening, the interior ministries for the Government of National Accord and the Interim Government announced the ceizure of hashish in the city of Benghazi, with an estimated value at 19 million dinars.

The Ministry of interior for the Government of National Accord said on its Facebook page: "the branch of the General Directorate for the control of narcotic drugs in  Benghazi managed to seize a large amount of narcotic substances estimated at about 19 million Libyan dinars."

While the Ministry of interior for the Interim Government also confirmed the seizure and financial value, but confirmed that the operation comes "within the work of the greater Benghazi security chamber."

Neither of the ministries provided any further details on the incident.
