The spokesman for the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, expressed his leadership's deep concern that "Turkey is transporting materiel, personnel, mercenaries and terrorists from Turkey towards Libya", noting that they have spotted "huge cargo planes arriving at airports in western Libya, especially at Wattiya base and Misrata", he said.

Al-Mismari spoke of what he described as threats by officials in the Government of National Accord regarding withdrawal from the ceasefire agreement signed by the parties of the Joint Military Committee and political dialogue, saying: "This is not something in their hands, they were forced to come to the dialogue."

Al-Mismari said that what happened yesterday in the Ubari region "was not a new military operation," noting that the units of the General Command are roaming the south-west region "comfortably and without objection," have reached the Algerian border, managing to arrest criminals and terrorists in the past days.

Explaining what happened at the Tendi camps in Ubari in the south-west of the country was "a simple misunderstanding among the officers in this camp," he said, praising the role of dignitaries and dignitaries in the Obari area who "resolved the problem and invited the armed forces to a luncheon in that area".
