Al-Sarraj discusses support for electricity sector in Libya with Eni officials

The head of Libya's Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, held a discussion on Monday, with a delegation of officials from the Italian oil and gas company Eni, that included the possibility of opening new investments to contribute to reviving the Libyan economy, in addition to discussing the steps taken to create projects for spatial development in the company's work areas and to discuss what was agreed upon in previous meetings regarding the possibility of Eni supporting the electricity sector in Libya.

This came during a meeting in Tripoli, in the framework of the partnership in the field of oil and gas and the follow-up of the company's projects in Libya, according to a statement published by the Media Office  for the Presidential Council.

The CEO of the company, Claudio Descalzi, the general manager of Eni for natural resources, Alessandro Politi, and the director of relations for Abu Pestley, participated in the meeting and on the Libyan side, the head of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah, attended.
