Tunisian delegation visits Benghazi's Benina airport in preparation to resume direct flights

A delegation from the Tunisian Civil Aviation Authority visited Benghazi's Benina International Airport on Tuesday to assess conditions in order for Tunisian airlines to reusume operating their flights to and from the airport.

According to the Benina International Airport administration, the delegation conducted a field inspection tour of the passenger lounges, the aircraft parking area and a number of facilities inside the airport.

The Tunisian delegation expressed its satisfaction with the procedures and workflow at the airport and recommended steps in the coming period for resuming flights.

The delegation was received by the Assistant Director General of Benina International Airport, a number of airport officials and civil aviation officials for Libya's interim government.
