A source from the National Oil Corporation (NOC) said in a statement to Alwasat that the failed attempt to storm Corporation's headquarters in Tripoli was due to administrative changes that took place in the chairmanship and membership of management committees in three oil companies.
According to the source there is a scheduled handover process for management committees at the Zallaf Oil Exploration and Production Company on Tuesday, and in the Mellita Oil and Gas Company on Wednesday.
Alwasat reviewed decisions issued in this regard last Thursday (November 19), which also included the restructuring of the management committee in the Arabian Gulf Oil Company.
These decisions included the following:
1- Restructuring the management committee of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, headed by Fadlallah Issa Al-Qatani and its membership.
The decision stipulates that the handover process would take place today, Monday, with the assignment of Masoud Suleiman Musa Mahmoud, Muhammad Saeed Al-Shaeri, and Naji Muhammad Abu Khamada.
2- The restructuring of the Zallaf Libya Company Management Committee, headed by Hasan Abu Siliana and its membership.
The decision stated that the handover process will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Foundation's headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of each of the directors of the legal, financial and development departments.
3- The decision to rename the NOC representatives for the Mellita Oil and Gas Company, headed by Muhammad bin Shatwan.
The decision stipulated that the handover process will take place after tomorrow, Wednesday, November 25, at NOC headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the directors of the General Administration of Legal, Financial and Development Affairs, Ramadan Ikhlef bin Shaaban, Fadhil Ahmad Aqil, and Nur al-Din al-Shaqman.
