Ajdabiya Municipality announces resumption of main road paving work after six month halt

Companies implementing paving work on main roads in theAjdabiya municipality have resumed their work after a six-month hiatus, cause by the coronavirus pandemic and a fuel shortage, according to the municipality's projects office.

Nouri al-Sharqawi, one of the engineers for the Projects Office tells Alwasat that the main streets that have been paved are Benghazi Road, which extends from the "February 17" roundabout to the intersection of the Martyr Imhamed Al-Magarief Central Teaching Hospital, the Hospital Junction, the eastern entrance to the city, in addition to Al-Qalouz Street and Tripoli Street.

Members of the Traffic and Licensing Department were seen organizing traffic and resolving traffic jams, to clear space for the paving companies to implement their work.
