Williams: Criteria for selecting Presidential Council and prime minister will be discussed at November 23rd forum

The Acting Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Stephanie Williams, said in a statement issued on Monday, that "discussions will continue in the coming weeks virtually about reforming Libya’s executive authority and the constitution." 

She added, "It has already been decided to hold a meeting for the online forum on November 23 in order to reach an agreement on the selection criteria for the Presidential Council after its reform and the position of prime minister."

On Sunday, the first round of the Tunis Forum was concluded in the Tunisian capital. 75 Libyan representatives in the forum agreed on a roadmap for holding “national, inclusive, democratic and credible elections, on December 24, 2021.”
