The former UN Secretary-General's envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salamé, praised what was achieved during the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum in Tunis.

He said, "Only those who understand the complexity of the Libyan crisis are able to measure the great progress that has been made during the days of political dialogue in Tunisia," according to a post on his personal account on Twitter.

Salamé saluted the participants in the forum, the UN Acting Envoy Stephanie Williams and the members of the United Nations Support Mission to Libya, for facilitating the holding of the forum "to accompany the progress previously recorded on the military and economic tracks."

On Sunday, Williams announced the end of the meeting by agreeing on three files that include the terms of reference of the executive authority, candidacy criteria and a road map.
