The commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, led a delegation to offer condolences to the family Special Forces commander, Lieutenant General Wanis Bukhamada, at their home.

The "General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces" published pictures showing the delegation offering condolences.

Bukhamada died on Sunday and was laid to rest the following day.

 Lieutenant General Wanis Bukhamada was born in Murzuq, an oasis in southern Libya, in 1960.
