US Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland discussed suppor for the Libyan dialogue with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.
Norland held a virtual call with Dendias yesterday, saying that they “we consulted on support for the upcoming Libyan Political Forum Dialogue and how this will allow Libya to re-establish its sovereignty.” according to a tweet on Tuesday.
It is noteworthy that Tunisia will host the "first direct meeting" of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, in early November, under the auspices of the United Nations.
In a previous statement, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya determined the upcoming Libyan dialogue locations, the date of its convening and the target audience for participation, as well as the criteria for selecting participants in the meetings.
The fourth round of talks of the Libyan Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) began yesterday at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva and will continue until next Saturday.
