A number of citizens demonstrated today in Algeria Square due to what they described as "poor living conditions," in Libya's capital, Tripoli.

Users circulated pictures on social networking sites showing dozens of citizens demonstrating in Tripoli against the Government of National Accord (GNA).

Earlier in the day, Presidential Council leader, Fayez Al-Sarraj, called for an emergency meeting with the acting Attorney General, the head of the Administrative Control Authority, the head of the Anti-Corruption Commission and the head of the Audit Bureau to be held on Saturday.

According to a letter from the Presidential Council, Al-Sarraj stressed that the meeting comes within the framework of follow-up, specifying responsibilities, exercising competencies, and discussing public affairs issues.
