Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi in Cairo Monday to discuss the latest developments in regional security.

The meeting followed an earlier meeting and press conference between Prince Faisal and Egyptian foreign Minister Sameh Soukry, where the two discussed the latest developments in Libya, according to the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

In a joint press conference, the two foreign ministers said they have discussed the security of the region, adding that Saudi Arabia supports Egypt's position on Libya.

Prince Faisal said the Kingdom supports excluding any kind of foreign interference in Libya, while his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, said that his country will "not tolerate the presence of terrorists" in neighboring Libya.
