FM's Cavusoglu and Siala discuss Libya developments after "liberation" of the Al-Watiya base

The Foreign Minister for Libya's Government of National Accord, Mohamed Siala, held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, discussing developments in Libya, especially after the "liberation" of the Al-Watiya air base.

According to a statement today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the communication dealt with ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, the conditions of stranded citizens and the steps taken to return them to the homeland.

The two sides discussed the Libyan-Turkish cooperation in combating the coronavirus and the medical supplies and tools provided by the Turkish state.
