Electric current in the city of Ajdabiya and its surrounding areas decreased from 120 megawatts to 59 megawatts due to the curfew in the city which was declared by the interim government as a precaution to counter the emerging coronavirus.

A source told Alwasat on Sunday, that the curfew imposed by the interim government on cities and regions and the closure of commercial stores in the city of Ajdabiya, from six o'clock in the evening to six in the morning led to a decrease in the local consumption of electricity contributing to the stability of the electrical network and less outages.
