On Thursday, the people of Benghazi complied with the curfew imposed by the Minister of the Interior for Libya's Interim Government beginning from six in the evening until six in the morning.

Pictures circulated by activists on social media showed major streets in the city of Benghazi completely free of passers-by and vehicles.

Interior Minister Ibrahim Bushnaf decided yesterday to impose a "total curfew," excluding "ambulances and vehicles of individuals charged with implementing the decision," as part of precautionary measures to combat the infiltration of the coronavirus into the city.
