The Information Office for the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA) announced that the Commander in Chief, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, has ordered a curfew in all areas under LNA authority beginning on Thursday, as a precautionary measure for the coronavirus.
Explaining; "The curfew period is from six in the evening until six in the morning."
Earlier today, the Minister of the Interior for Libya's interim government, Ibrahim Bushnaf, decided, "there is a complete curfew from six in the evening until six in the morning." The decision excluded "ambulances and the vehicles of the individuals assigned to implement the decision."
While precautionary measures are continuing in various parts of the country, the Director of the National Center for Diseases reiterated that no confirmed cases of coronavirus have been registered so far.
