Operation "Volcano of Anger" announced on Thursday, the death of a woman and the injury of four others as a result of shells falling on neighborhoods in the capital, Tripoli.
The woman died and three others were injured after a random shell landed in the Damascus neighborhood, according to a statement.
The operation also indicated that another woman in Abu Salim neighborhood was lightly wounded due to a falling shell, noting that the General Command forces "targeted the Mitiga International Airport with Grad missiles." It was not possible for Alwasat to confirm the authenticity of this news from an independent source.
Witnesses in a number of Tripoli's residential areas reported that a number of rockets had landed near them this morning, which resulted in material losses.
This escalation comes hours after the UN Security Council adopted a resolution approving the outputs of the Berlin conference on Libya, including a ceasefire in the country.
