Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that his country has a team providing support and advice in Libya.

"We have a training and consulting team that provides support to our Libyan brothers, and we continue our advisory services there," according to statements reported by the Turkish Andalou agency.

On Wednesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu confirmed that his country “has only military and trained advisers currently in Libya, and is waiting for a commitment to a ceasefire,” noting cooperation with Russia “for the sake of solving major crises like Syria and Libya, despite differences in views between them."
