The management of the Mititga International Airport announced today, Wednesday, the suspension of air travel at the airport until further notice, and the transfer of flights to Misrata International Airport starting tomorrow, Thursday, according to a statement.

The airport administration had announced earlier today, "the suspension of flights there until further notice, as a result of exposure to rocket fire," before returning and confirming that the carrier companies will begin the procedures of their scheduled flights.

This comes at a time when a spokesman for the forces affiliated with the Government of National Accord, Colonel Muhammad Gnounou, announced that the General Command forces targeted the airport with six Grad missiles, noting that this shelling was "a new and repeated breach of the ceasefire and threatens air traffic."
