The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, said that he hopes that the military and security committee that is to be formed under the auspices of the United Nations, composed of 10 military and security personnel from both sides of the conflict in Libya, will meet next Tuesday.

He continued during a speech after a meeting on the results of the Berlin Summit, which was held on Sunday that it was "the beginning", wishing for a commitment to the ceasefire and the political solution "which has not happened yet."

According to previous statements, German Chancellor Angela Merkel noted that the UN envoy to Libya, during his participation in the international conference on Libya in Berlin, said that the "5 + 5" military committee that comes within the security path package for the Libyan dialogue will hold its meeting next week.
