Libya produced 404.3 million barrels of oil in 2018, exported 367.5 million

Libya's oil sector recorded an increase in production to 404.3 million barrels last year, an 83.5 million barrel, or 26% increase from 2017. 

Recent data issued by the National Oil Corporation and reported by the Central Bank showed that the average daily oil production reached 1.1 million barrels, an increase of over 200,000 barrels per day during the same period.

Statistics indicated that the total oil exports reached 367.5 million barrels during the year, an annual increase of 27.7% or 79.8 million barrels, compared to 287.7 million barrels in2017.

Libyan oil exports reached one million barrels per day, up from an average of 800,000 barrels during 2017.
