Airstrikes target Qardabiya base and Sirte airport

According to witnesses and local sources in Sirte, Qardabiya air base and Sirte airport were bombed on Monday, as part of several raids targeting a number of locations around the city.

The sources told Alwasar that the aerial bombardment targeted "an old military site used to store ammunition, the area of ​​the African Union, Qarbabiya air base in Abuhadi south of Sirte, and Sirte International Airport."

The sources confirmed that the aerial bombardment caused material damage without causing any loss of life.

The city of Sirte suffers from several crises, including lack of cooking gas, lack of liquidity, lack of medicine, in addition to water supply interruptions for the second consecutive week.
