Deputy UN Special Representative Stephanie Williams paid a visit to the Municipality of Misrata, where she held meetings on several topics, including the initiative of the UN envoy Ghassan Salamé for the return of parties to the political process.

Williams met with the Mayor, members of the municipal council, representatives of civil society, elders, tribal leaders in the region as well as women's rights activists, according to the UN Mission's statement.
