Number of displaced families from Tripoli seeking shelter in Sirte rises to 670

The head of the Sirte crisis committee in Sirte, Saleh Ali Iyadah, said that the number of displaced families from areas of clashes in Tripoli, seeking shelter in the city rose to 670.

Iyadah, in a statement to Alwasat on Thursday, said these families have registered with the Bureau of Social Affairs in Sirte, stressing that the number is increasing daily.

He explained that the municipality of Sirte issued a decision to spend 1000 dinars for each family displaced, when the number was at 370, providing humanitarian assistance to them, in the form of food, furnishings, cleaning materials, supplies of children diapers and milk.
