Algeria called on all Libyan parties to exercise restraint and renounce violence in all its forms following the condemnation of last Thursday's attack on a crowd of mourners at Hawari cemetery in the city of Benghazi.
Algeria's Foreign Ministry condemned in a statement "all acts that would terrorize Libyans and threaten the peace and security of the country." It also renewed its stand and solidarity with the "brotherly Libyan people" and called on all parties "to exercise restraint and renounce violence in all its forms."
Algeria also stressed that "the path of comprehensive dialogue was the only way to reach sustainable solutions to ensure the unity of Libya and its sovereignty."
A car bomb exploded inside Hawari cemetery in the city of Benghazi on Thursday, killing four people and wounding 28, according to local medical sources.
