Bakeries in Bani Walid close their doors in solidarity with Egyptian national killed in the city on Tuesday

The bakeries operating in Bani Walid on Wednesday closed their doors to citizens in solidarity with Egyptian citizen Abdullah Ahmed Morshedi, who was killed Tuesday while working in a bakery in the city.

A local source tells Alwasar that the tribe of the Libyan citizen who killed the Egyptian worker confirmed that they comply with what is recognized by Sharia and law and custom in the city of Bani Walid, and that it is in contact with the family of the victim.

The source added that the tribe of the murderer announced that it has provided for the transfer and burial of the victim and the cost of consolation in full, in addition to a payment determined by the victims family and a committee of Bani Walid dignitaries.
