The head of Libya's Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, met Tuesday with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Libya, Mubarak Abdullah Al-Adwani and briefed him on the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.
During the meeting, the Kuwaiti ambassador stressed the depth of brotherly relations between the two countries and said that Al-Sarraj's recent visit to the State of Kuwait established a framework for cooperation in various fields.
For his part, Al-Sarraj expressed "sincere appreciation to the State of Kuwait, the Emir, the Government and the people, and commended the efforts exerted by Ambassador Mubarak Abdullah Al-Adwani to develop cooperation between his country and Libya."
The Information Office for the Presidential Council said that the meeting between Al-Serraj and the Kuwaiti ambassador "touched upon the latest political situation in Libya. The two sides also affirmed the support for the UN envoy's plan to achieve stability in Libya."
