Libya has lost much of its production in the last week due to bad weather, with 7 out of 8 oil ports being shut down according to the head of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla. The current production volume is about one million barrels per day.

"The policy of OPEC always encourages the stability of the oil market and does not want any fluctuations or over-supply, or lack of supplies, we are working to balance the market," said Sanalla according to the Sputnik news agency.

The 175th meeting of OPEC began today in Vienna to determine the policy of producing countries on future production cuts and ensure the stability of the world oil market.
