Libyan Investment Authority: Gunmen kidnapped employees of the authority ordered that it disregard orders from its chairman

The Libyan Investment Authority in Tripoli announced in a statement issued on Tuesday night that "gunmen belonging to the brigade which protects the headquarters of the organization to kidnapped several employees, taking them to the previous headquarters of the College of Women."

Adding that the "gunmen threatened directors of departments and demanded they not to comply with the decisions and instructions of the chairman of the authority."

The gunmen also forced the director of information technology department in the investment authority to remove the e-mail addresses of the chairman, the executive director, the director of finance, operations manager and several other executives from the company system.
