Marshal Haftar meets with Mayor of Benghazi to discuss war displaced and reconstruction of their homes

The Commander of the Libya National Army, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, stressed the importance of paying attention to the file of displaced persons in the city of Benghazi and the reconstruction of their homes, damaged during clashes against terror groups.

Marshal Haftar met with the Mayor of Benghazi, Abdul Rahman Al-Abbar, at the headquarters of the General Command in the Rajmah area, where they discussed the living conditions and availability of services in the municipality.

Haftar expressed "The need to improve the living conditions of citizens and to ensure the proper functioning of the state institutions in this city, which has suffered over the past years and supported the army in its war on terrorism," according to the army public information office.
