On Monday, Afriqiyah Airways resumed its flights to and from the Tamanhint Civil Airport in the Wadi El-Bouanis Municipality, with two flights on Mondays and Fridays each week from Mitiga airport in Tripoli and Benina airport in Benghazi.

The director of the Information Office tells Alwasat on Tuesday that an Airbus A320 aircraft arrived on Monday at the Tammhant civil airport arriving from Benina airport in Benghazi with 45 passengers on board. The flight from Tripoli carried 136 passengers on board.

It is noteworthy that the southern region suffers from interruption in flights at several airports, forcing citizens to travel to the north and east through the roads, which are usually dangerous because of the security situation and lack of fuel stations.
