The head of Libya's Presidential Council , Fayez Serraj, held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the procedures for the return of Tawerghans to their city after signing the peace treaty with Misrata earlier this week.
The meeting was attended by the head of Tawergha's local council, Abdulrahman Shakshak, and the Mayor of Misrata, Mustafa Karwad.
The Information Office for the Presidential Council said that the meeting "discussed all measures related to the return of the people of Tawergha to their city in order to provide basic services, security requirements and all the necessary needs to achieve a safe and stable return of the people."
He added that Serraj was briefed by the committee on the agreement between Tawergha and Misrata and issued immediate instructions to the concerned ministries, service and security agencies to quickly complete all the requirements for the return of Tawerghans.
Serraj, once again expressed full appreciation to all those who contributed to ending the obstacles that prevented the implementation of the reconciliation agreement between brothers in Misrata and Tawergha.
