The Benghazi Municipality Project Office and the Department of Technology & Maintenance of Educational Facilities have completed the installation of a number of mobile classrooms and rest areas in several parts of the city affected during clashes.
"This comes within the framework of efforts to restore stability to the affected areas and neighborhoods of the city and based on the memorandum of understanding signed by the Mayor of Benghazi, Advisor Abdel Rahman Alabbar and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)," an official from information office in the Benghazi municipality said.
He explained that 31 mobile classrooms were installed in several areas of Benghazi, including:
-10 mobile classrooms and maintenance of bathrooms at Barqa School in the Qawarsha area.
-4 mobile classrooms at Al-Hejaz Street in Al-Leithi area.
-4 mobile classrooms in the Al-Halis School.
-6 new bathrooms and 4 mobile classrooms at the Qanfouda School.
-Maintenance of 6 bathrooms and 5 mobile classrooms at the Sidi Mansour School.
The Benghazi Municipality Information Office official, Nidal Kadiki, pointed out that Benghazi municipality is in the progress of providing additional mobile classrooms for some of the other affected areas in the city.
