Libya records 559 new Covid-19 infections, 17 deaths in 24 hours

Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 559 new Covid-19 infections after testing conducted on Wednesday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Thursday, the center also noted that there were 1,720 recoveries from the virus and 17 deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 348,647 cases, of which 67,758 are still currently active, with a total of 4,849 deaths since the outbreak began in the country during March 2020.

The total number of vaccinated in the country has reached 1,447,300.
