Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 870 new coronavirus infections after the testing of 4,921 samples on Monday.

In it's daily bulletin released on Tuesday, the center also noted that there were 945 recoveries from the virus and seven deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in Libya to 115,299, cases, of which 19,223 are active, with a total of 1,789 deaths since the outbreak began in the country last March.
