Tripoli's Burn and Plastic Surgery Hospital received 35 individuals injuried due to the use of fireworks during the Mawlid holiday, but registering a significant decrease in similar injuries from the previous two years.
According statistics issued by the hospital's information and documentation office and published by the Ministry of Health on Thursday, the injuries varied between superficial burns and minor wounds. The hospital did not record any case of partial or complete amputation this year.
The Information Office stated that all cases were treated and left the hospital.
