Van designated for transporting Bani Walid General Hospital medical staff stolen by armed group

A vehicle carrying medical and auxiliary medical personnel at Bani Walid General Hospital was stolen on Wednesday morning, negatively affecting the work inside the hospital say staff.

The director of the media office at Bani Walid Hospital, Hatem Al-Tuwaijer, tells Alwasat that the theft took place at 8 am, indicating that the van was a 2019 Hyundai, able to carry 12 passengers.

Al-Tuwaijer added that the van was stolen near Al-Ashaqa Bridge, east of Bani Walid, where an armed group stopped and attacked the driver, forcing him to exit the vehicle.
