Libya's National Center for Disease Control announced the registration of 532 new coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours.
The center added that 70 have recovered, while eight have died, according to a statement.
The center says that 3,255 tests were conducted overall, with 1266 from the Tripoli Community Health Reference Laboratory, 629 for the Biotechnology Research Center, 400 from the National Center for Animal Health, 300 from Benghazi Medical Center, 234 from Misrata and 136 from Zliten.
The total number of infections in Libya rose to 15,156 cases, of which 13,160 were active. There have also been 1,746 recoveries and 250 deaths since March.
