The Ministry of Health for Libya's Government of National Accord (GNA) announced the approval of the initial designs for two hopsitals, which will be built in two different locations within the municipality of Tajoura.

The clinical capacity of the "Women, Childbirth and Children" Hospital will be 120 beds, while "Tajoura General Hospital" will have a capacity of sixty beds, according to the Ministry's media office. The mnistry stated that the approval of these designs comes within the framework of implementing a comprehensive plan to reduce the burden on the clinical capacity of hospitals in Tripoli.

The Director of Projects Management, Mohamed Al-Azoumi, said that the Ministry of Health "seeks to provide good medical services east of the capital, through the application of unified policies that address current bottlenecks in these areas."
