Benghazi's Hawari General Hospital opened after being equipped to function as quarantine headquarters

The Prime Minister for Libya's Interim Government, Abdullah Al-Thinni, was accompanied by Libyan National Army Chief of Staff and Head of the Supreme Committee to Combat the Corona Epidemic, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Razek al-Nadori, at the opening of Hawari General Hospital in Benghazi after it was equipped as quarantine headquarters as part of an emergency plan to confront the pandemic.

The Interim government notes that the hospital has been equipped with a capacity of 134 beds.

The opening of the hospital was also attended by the Minister of Interior, Ibrahim Bushnaf, the Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Akoub, members of the Supreme Committee, in addition to the head of the Military Investment Commission, Major General Ramadan Abdullah, and the head of the Benghazi Municipal Council Saqr Bujwari.
