The Ministry of Health for Libya's Interim Government announced that four suspected cases of coronavirus in Benghazi tested negative after labratory analysis of samples provided.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Agoub, appealed to citizens earlier this week to "adhere to the curfew", warning of "catastrophic consequences" of the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Minister Agoub said in a statement addressed to the citizens, we call on you to "stay in your homes, adhere to the curfew, and follow the health recommendations and instructions issued by official institutions because it is the only way currently adopted to survive the catastrophic consequences of the spread of the epidemic."
