Burn Center and Plastic Surgery Hospital re-opens after renovation

The Burn and Plastic Surgery Hospital in Tripoli re-opened its door after its first renovation in 30 years.

The renovated rooms are now equipped with German-made "BED HEAD" units, advanced beds, stainless steel doors, and the rooms were also equipped with high-quality medical glass walls according to the Ministry of Health in the Government of National Accord.

The director of the hospital's information office, Ali Al-Rayani, revealed that the burn hospital has a capacity of 15 beds, with state of the art medical equipment "the first of their kind in Libya and North Africa.”

The Ministry also announced the end of maintenance work on the second floor of the hospital, which is designated for plastic surgery and had not received any updated in more than nine years.
