The Ministry of Finance in Libya's Interim Government has allocated about 234.54 million dinars to the medical supply system.
The interim government explained in a statement today that the amount will be allocated for two purposes. The first is to cover the value of tender award No. 2 for 2018 which provides for medicines and medical needs in the amount of 184.54 million dinars.
The second purpose is to direct 50 million dinars to cover the direct value of specialized medical supplies.
The interim government pointed out that the amount will be distributed according to the readiness of payment and deducted from the general budget for 2019.
