The head of Libya's presidential council, Fayez Al-Sarraj and his deputy Ahmed Maiteeg, granted permission on Tuesday to complete the maintenance and development of the Misrata Medical Center with an added capacity of 850 beds.
This came during an inspection tour in the city which also included the Oncology Center in Misrata , accompanied by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mohammad Haitham.
For his part, the Director of the Center, Dr. Mohamed Al-Faqih, about the weakness of the possibilities of lack of medicines and operating materials, praising at the same time the efforts of doctors to treat patients according to available possibilities.
Al-Faqih reviewed the importance of the center, which provides services to patients in the city of Misrata and adjacent areas with statistics, calling for the need to pay attention to the center so that it can perform its duties. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health said that the ministry is ready to provide all the needs of the center.
