The Chairman of Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, said on Wednesday, that the corporation is able to achieve about 1,450,000 barrels per day of crude production during 2022, but stressed that this remains subject to receiving the necessary budgets for the sector.

On Wednesday, Sanalla also demanded during a press conference that the necessary budgets be provided for the maintenance of the worn-out oil fields and pipelines, which have remained in place for 60 years.

He added that the NOC will target, during 2022, the rehabilitation of several fields such as Ghani, Dahra and Jufra.
