The Director-General of Algerian Customs, Noureddine Khaldi, announced readiness to launch export operations to Libya through the Debdeb and Guezzam border crossings.
Khaldi's confirmed measures have been taken to open the border crossings with the aim of facilitating export operations, stressing that “urgent solutions will be taken in the coming days to start exporting through these crossings,” according the Algerian Press Service.
Last December, the Algerian Minister of Trade, Kamal Rezig, confirmed the reopening of Debdeb border crossing, calling on Algerian businessmen to enter the Libyan market through food products and materials.
