Meeting looks at resumption of Tunisair flights to Misrata

Tunisair has expressed its desire to resume its flights to and from Misrata Airport. This came during a meeting between Misrata's mayor, members of the Misrata Municipal Council, the regional director of Tunisair and a number of company officials.

A statement stated that the meeting discussed a number of issues regarding the return of Tunisair to the city.

The regional director of Tunisair expressed "the great desire of Tunisair to start operating from Misrata Airport as soon as possible, when the airport's new terminal is completed and flights are officially scheduled."

On September 17, Tunisair announced the resumption of its flights from Carthage Airport to the Tripoli and Benghazi.
