Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced in a statement that the cumulative production losses since the closure of ports and oil fields amounted to about 78.49 million barrels, from January 18 to the beginning of this April, with daily production decreasing to 92,730 barrels from 1.2 million barrels.

The NOC estimated the total losses in oil revenues to be about 3 billion and 893 million dollars, pointing out that the Libyan economy and financial reserves are in constant decline every day due to the closures.

Many of the facilities operated by the NOC have been closed since January 17, prompting it to increase its fuel imports so that it can meet the basic needs of citizens.

The statement concluded by calling on all parties in Libya to lift the blockade resume oil and gas production.
