First bank founded and headquartered in southern Libya opens its door in the city Sebha

Al-Yaqeen Bank, which is the first bank established in southern Libya, opened in its headquarters in the city of Sebha.

The director of Al-Yaqeen Bank, Miftah Omar Moftah, told Alwasat Gate that the bank will operate in three sections: “current accounts, corporate accounts, and customer services.”

The director of the main branch in Sebha, Dr. Ali Diab, added, that the bank provides services to citizens, businessmen, companies, and will contribute to the development in the southern region and throughout Libya.

The banks will operate according to Islamic Sharia principles, which prohibit speculation.
